Six years later, Bella turned six, and received a present from her grandfather that she thought was, well, somewhat 'expected'.
Here's how it played out:
Bella opens card from her grandpa (on the other side of the family, her father's side). It's one of those money-holding cards with a $20 bill inside. Twenty bucks is a load of change for a six-year-old girl (so we thought).
Without skipping a beat, Bella unloads this gem: "Twenty dollars...(and with as much Italian sarcastic inflection possible)...THAT'S expected!"
Oh, Bella.
